This policy explains what information AI in Chicago (produced by Techné AI) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum.

Information we collect

• Information you submit. When you use our contact, guest-nomination, or email-signup forms, you provide details such as your name, email address, and message. These submissions are processed by Web3Forms and delivered to us by email.
• Newsletter. Our newsletter, Signal from the Loop, is hosted on LinkedIn. If you subscribe there, LinkedIn manages your subscription under its own privacy policy.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our host may keep standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to respond to your message, evaluate guest nominations, and —if you opt in—send you updates about the show. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

The Site does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of providers to operate the Site, including Web3Forms (form delivery), LinkedIn (newsletter), and our hosting provider (Netlify). Podcast platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music collect their own data when you listen there, under their respective policies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the LinkedIn newsletter at any time from LinkedIn. To ask what information we hold about you, or to request that we delete it, email info@techne.ai and we will honor reasonable requests.

Data retention

We retain form submissions only as long as needed to respond and to maintain our records, then delete them.

Children

The Site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
